As a Geologist, I am always amazed at how certain politico's like to jump a band wagon and run about crying "the sky is falling...".
The Earth has a geologic record of its basic time lines; we call these Ice Ages. The Earth has several records of various Ice Ages at various times in pre-history. The interim periods are in effect Global Warming. Nothing new here.
Is man's populous affecting the trend of this new warming trend? Duh.
Can we effectually reverse or stave this impending doom? Not! We can and should do better at taking care of this treasure we have been entrusted to; nothing wrong with that.
And if we are in this warming trend; then why does the United Nations Global Geology Group, state we are headed into yet another ice age in somewhere near 500 or 600 years into the future?
I submit, we are in a cyclical pattern of good 'Ole Mother Nature at her best.
Living in Alaska, we have a laboratory in our back yard! Contrary to what certain politicians are portraying, we have numerous glaciers that are advancing not receding.
Hang on kids it should be a fun ride.

all the pollution that we create from fossile fuels and not recycling sends gases into the atmosphere that destory the O-zone layer. There are now holes in the ozone layer that us humans have caused. These holes let harnful UV rays onto the earth that are melting the polar ice caps.. if the polar ice caps are melting, the sea levels will rise, which is clearly not good.

Ice an prolonged time are cyclic. They recur periodically, as a results of fact the earth is going with the aid of cooling & warming stages. Scientists anticipate that by utilizing the 365 days 2100, ocean stages will upward thrust 39" (1m). this might flood hundreds of thousands of acres of liveable land, worldwide.
