There is never a perfect man or woman, loving a man and overlooking his short comings is the best, when u love a man, you automatically create the perfection in him by not seeing that bad side of him, love, i mean true love and tolerance over comes all things, the first thing i will say is that you take your time to study and meet this man who will love you as much as you love him and you of you can build your lives together.....cheeers

this is difficult one as i dont know how strongly held u r by your society or elders...if you are in uk perhaps you should go to citizens advice for help
arranged marriages only work because both people are strongly held in that marriage with their religion and cultural bonds....they r not necessarily good marriages because they last....i am british but in my day respect made me do as i was told and i was forcibly split from the boy i loved....23 yrs on and not so good a marriage with other man ...i met my first love again and we r now married 6 yrs and soooo happy but soooo sad at what we missed
hope all works out.....try to balance respect with taking life decisions into ur own hands...that way it will make changes a little less hard on your parents

no such thing as a perfect husband and father.

You probably have as much chance of a happy marriage if it is arranged or for love.
