You could just refuse to participate in any other tournament until the next world cup comes along and boast about until then that you won a 20/20 cup and so you are the deserving champions.
Cricket is about how a team is performing NOW, not how they did 10 years ago, when so-and-so was captain or about how many top-scoring batsmen you now have in the team.
Just two days ago, Harbhajan was banging on about "The potential of the Indian batting line-up". LOL. All these "potential" rubbish comes to nothing if they cannot turn their so-banged-on-about "potential" into reality. At the end of the day it is not about the potential of a team that counts, but how they actually perform out there in the middle, at the moment of truth, when it really matters. Everything else is fanciful nonsense.

If India would have made the 337 runs, then everybody would of claimed India to be the "Top Dog" in International cricket.
I am already speculating of a whitewash with Australia claiming all 4 test match victories.
The likes of Tendulkar, Ganguly, Kumble, Dhoni are still no match to the calabre of Hayden, Jacques, Clarke, Symonds & Ponting.
The biggest test for Australia will be the twenty20 match against the world twenty20 champions in the first of February.
So, in cutting this short, I do NOT agree with you.

i can't say best, because currently Australia is best. And 337 run is not small.
But being number 2 is a possibility. I agree India is 20/20 champion but there will be 20/20 in Australia too.

I think 337 runs is almost just only two innings score of India.
We are having team full of legends but not the match winners.
We won the 20/20 with the team without the legends.
