I have heard that sometimes infants can have swollen breast from such things as milk glands but if she is one years old and shows signs of pain when it is touch I would get her to a doctors office just to get it looked over it may be something that is common.

Yeh it is probably best to just get it checked out by a doctor.
It may be completely harmless but if it is sore for her then the docs may be able to give her something for it.

It is not puss that comes out of a newborn's breast. It is milk.

if she seems like it hurts when you touch it and you find that it's worrying you then i'd think it best to consult your doctor. they're going to be able to tell you for sure what it is. better safe then sorry. good luck

Sounds like normal hormone fluctuations. See your doc for piece of mind, it's pretty common though.

You should take her to the doctor, but until you can get in, try a warm compress.
