My boyfriend knocked over a tiny candle with his Star Wars book.
The wax is now on the wall and on the carpet behind my bed.
Have any of you spilled wax on your wall and on the floor?
How on earth do you clean it up?

No problem at all! If you can remove any of the wax without tearing something, do so. Then take some paper towels, a fairly hot iron and lay the towels over the waxy areas. Run over the paper towels with the iron, quickly and smoothly until you see the wax melt into the P.T. Do this until all of the wax is removed from the carpet, wait about 5 minutes and spot clean it with any good carpet cleaner. Vacuum and you're done. On the walls, use the same technique until the paper towels no longer absorb anything. Let that rest for a bit and then use a good all purpose cleaner on the wall to take away the oily mark that will be left there. If you still have or can get a small can of the same paint you may have to touch it up a bit. Good luck!

To clean it off the carpet get a few paper towels and a warm iron. Put the paper on the wax and the warm iron on the towels. The heat from the iron will heat the wax and it will be absorbed into the paper towels. You might need to do that a few times. Make sure that the iron is warm... not hot!

Hot iron on top of a piece of cloth like an old rag or shirt. The wax sticks to the shirt and off your carpet. As for the wall, it will stain like any oil will do. Just scrape off what u can.

Once it dries, it'll simply scrape off the wall.

For the carpet: Find an old absorbent rag, dampen it (just a little) and lay it over the wax. Then run an iron over it just like you're trying to iron the rag. The wax will melt and be absorbed into the rag.

scrub it off of the walls with warm soap and water and good ol' fashion elbow grease.

As for the carpet, I would try pouring a small amount of hot water on the spot to heat the wax up a bit and then scrub it with a rag.

Use an iron over some paper towels. The iron will melt the wax and the paper towels will absorb the melted wax.

The carpet is easy.....put newspaper on it....and then put a warm iron to it. The wall im not so sure....try ice cubes and then perhaps peel it off.
