I called a refill in at 4:00. I got there at 6:00. They said it would take another 30 minuets.

Maybe it was busy day? The pharmacy has to deal with phoned in, faxed in, brought in and refilled prescriptions daily. In addition to working on insurance problems. And the process that comes to filling an order takes time. Pharmacists have to carefully look over at what they're giving you to avoid dispensing errors and law suits. Pharmacies have hundreds of medication orders to fill daily and sometimes with the flu season and the end of the year coming up they get busy with the loads of patients trying to get everything done before their insurance coverage is terminated. I got really angry at my old pharmacy because refill orders had to be placed 24 hours ahead of time, but now I've switched pharmacies and I phone in my orders a few days before I'm out.
