Nope a DVD disk is exactly for that burning videos. I know how you feel I did the same thing, bought a DVD when I needed a CD for music. Go to Walgreens they sell CD-RW its open 24/7.

yes you can if you have a DVD re-writer drive. you will probably only be able to access them on the PC. and it is very slow format. you should try CD'r or DVD-r if you want to store them long term, DVD RW is usually better for backing up stuff that you constantly change, because you can wipe the disc and then rite again.

you must have a dvd burner in your computer and it would most likely play in a dvd player. if you want to put them back on your computer from your dvd rw you must have a dvd drive and MAYBE the proper program to rip it to your computer. This is just me guessing so I dont really know.

As long as you have a dvd burner that can do dvd-rw's. Then you can just use it as a 4.6GB cd.
But, it'll only play on yours or another computer with a dvd drive.

i dont think so thouhg i've never tried. I think you could but you would have to change some setting of the files when you transfer them to the dvd-rw. But let me know if it does work.

Sure ... you can back them up to DVD ... they should play in your DVD player but not in an ordinary CD player ... Create it as a Data DVD ... NOT a music one
