If I could afford it this is the one I would buy!

It all depends on what you want to spend, yes they are excellent computers!

Apple laptops, or macs in general are not limited to the single task operating system that PC's are. They are a mutiltask operating system based off UNIX. They are more stable than PC's and are not prone to all the Viruses and mal/spyware PC's are. It can run either XP or VISTA in addition to the MacOS. If you can afford it go with the Mac Book Pro, the 17" screen will knock your socks off! What more can I say but YES Apple Mac notbooks are excellent laptops!

Hope this helps

Sorry about the previous confusion.

Apple's laptops are the best notebooks. They run Vista (and I think XP), better than other PC notebooks. I have an iMac, and plan on getting a MacBook this weekend.

Get the Macbook Pro if cost is no matter. You can get it at apple's store or at macmall. Even if you want to run windows, get the Mac. It runs Wiondows better, anyway!

hey man, i still don't get it. is your keyboard defective or does it miss the "." and the ","? ... phrases without interpunction are hard to read!

apple notebooks aka. macbooks are really good but in my opinion much too expensive. just compare the price of the Dell XPS M1530 with the one of a macbook with the same specs.

Dell XPS M1530:
CPU: C2D T7500 (2.2Ghz, 4mb L2 cache)
Ram: 3GB (PC2-5300)
HD: 250GB (5400rpm)
GPU: GeForce 8600M GT (256mb)
DVD: super multi drive
DSP: 15.4" true life (WXGA1280x800) [[upgradeable to WSXGA+ 1680x1050 for $100]]
price atm: $1399
http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsnb_m1530?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~tab=bundlestab&~ck=mn

you have to buy a Macbook Pro to compete with these specs and a "Pro" starts at > $2000 (even for the 15.4" version)
