Manning because he doesn't try to pad his stats. His coach is too classy, and we saw how he was pulled out of the Ravens game early because they were up by a lot. Belichick doesn't do that. This is the first year that Brady has topped 30 TD passes, Peyton has done it 4 times. Peyton had 49 going into the last week of the season, and Brady has 48. Manning only played one series the next game. Brady could break it, but that's because it appears he will play the full game.

They are the two best, I actually think the comeback last year put the title of 'the best' with Manning, does not mean Brady can not re-claim the title this year, I am old enough to remember the Mays Mantle debate back in the 50's and 60's, these two are a lot like that, I guess Romo has to be mentioned with these two also, all three play for good teams, so I think the quaterback play is what determines who is the best of those three teams

It's really hard to say, since they both have played on solid teams for most if not all of their careers and are protected by two of the best offensive lines in football.
Most people will tell you that the best way to judge a quarterback is to see how they carry a poor team. Unfortunately we have not had the chance to do this with either of these quarterbacks. With that being said I'd take Brady, since he seems to take pressure better than Manning, although both of them prove to be rather average if you can get some pressure on them and knock them around a little bit.
When all is said and done though, I don't think they'll ever be mentioned with the all time greats. Neither one of them could have done what quarterbacks like John Elway and Brett Favre have done with pretty poor teams.

Brady. In the past I would always have said Tom Brady because when his team needs him he could always assemble a drive, where for many years Manning couldn't. And now Tom Brady has receivers and is even more dominant than Manning.
Either way, if a receiver is open, either one of them is going to put the ball on target. In my personal opinion, they may just be the two greatest QBs ever.

Peyton has not won as many games in the playoffs or Super Bowls because the defense has struggles. What he has done statistically is double everything Brady has done. Brady would have Mannings numbers if he could. End of story.

From Jammed Upt:
"Tom Brady has 3 rings <<>> Peyton has 1 do the MATH pleeze"
Ok, if you put it that way, then I agree. This is why the Yanks are always better than the Red Sux too.

Brady all the way. He's been getting it done for so many season without the weapons. He was a 6th round draft pick and a 4th string QB for the Pats to start. If you read his scouting report it basically says he's a terrible athlete and a moderate QB. I think he's proven himself more than Peyton.

Tom Brady. He is more calm in the pocket. He is more mobile than Peyton Manning. He is more consistent in the pocket and out too.
