A child of that age with a high temp can easily go into a febrile convulsion.
He needs some paracetamol to bring the temp down for starters.
High temp in infants can mean infection, he needs to be seen by a Doctor.
Children dont cry for 'no reason'. Get some help.

How high is the fever? If you can't reach parents and not sure if you should call 911 the call your local ask a nurse. If you aren't sure if you have one then call a local hospital and ask to speak to a pediatrician.
Do you know if the baby has been sick? Has he been pulling on his ears? Perhaps ear infection or at his age possibly teething? Best thing though is get an adult to take a look at him.

Any baby with a high fever needs to be seen by a doctor or paramedic right away. Call the parents right now. If you can't get them call 911, it is the right thing to do.

CALL THE PARENTS NOW! OR 911, EITHER ONE! GET HELP!
You don't know what's going on here so you need to get a hold of someone right away!
Gosh...I hope nothing is seriously wrong. I am even hoping that this post is a joke. If not, I really hope that the baby is OK. Please get help ASAP. If you still don't know what to do, you can e-mail me and I'll see if I can help! But I suggest you calling an adult ASAP. Poor baby. :-(

i agree, call an adult (your parents?) to ask for help.
if there is no adult available, call 911, and tell the operator what the problem is... how high the fever is, and any other details.
you would not be making a "mistake" by being responsible to call 911 if you have no other recourse.
