The Giants only responsibility is to themselves. They are responsible for doing everything they can to imporve their chances in the off season. What amazes me, is that while everyone is talking about the Giants, noone mentions that the Cowboys and the Colts are in similar positions where they are not playing for anything of importance, but the other team is. Do the Colts have an obligation to the Browns to ensure they beat the Titans? Do the Cowboys have an obligation to the Vikings or the Saints to ensure they beat the Redskins? Neither of them does, and neither does the Giants.

Yes. Especially for what this means to the Pats. Besides, resting starters hasn't helped them in the past. I think they should play their starters if for no other reason than to get on the same page and continue the momentum into the playoffs. Teams that keep getting bumped in the first round can't afford a break.

They should leave the starters out to avoid the humiliation. Seriously, they need to just accept the fact that they have no chance to win, so play third stringers, take the loss and go in to the postseason knowing they rested their starters instead of having their starters rattled from the loss.

They don't have a responsibility, but they are definitely going to play hard just for the sake of pride and because the offense needs to get their **** together and get on the same page before the playoffs start, so they need the practice. They are not going to roll-over, I guarantee you that.

The Giant's first responsibilty is to get to the super bowl, and the coach has the right to do whatever is in his power to get them there,if resting his players is an option for a better performance in the playoffs, the coach should take it

not to anyone but themselves. they may want to do it because if they are just one more step in the pat's going 19-0 they will be forgotten, but if they defeated new england in the last game of the season they would be LEGENDS. (and it's not like they are gonna go very far in the playoffs anyways)

No and, they wont. they have nothing to win or, lose in this game. they are looking ahead to the playoffs. Coughlins job probably depends on at least, winning the first game.

i dont think they have a responsibility but i think it would be a disappointment if they just laid down & let them have it. I want to see a good game but want NE to win.
