Is it true that money brings you happiness?

Question

This is my opinion feel free to put down anything you want:
I think it does because if you had a lot of many you could get anything you want and you will be happy. If you are generous like me I would give A LOT of money to the poor and to any charity organizations If I didn't have money I couldn't give to the poor like I could if I was poor and when I give money to the poor I feel happy :) If I had a lot of money I would bring my whole family together and we would be so happy......If you disagree feel free to express what is on your mind :)

i hate to say it but money does make me happy... i like to get what i want and if i get it im happy and most of the time money brings me that happiness....
its true that money cant bring you all happiness, because it cant buy you true love, true friendship, and it is worth nothing if you dont have anyone to share it with.
it is reallllyyyy nice to have money in your pocket and to be able to get what you want but you also have to realize that it wont last forever...
i guess what im trying to say is that it makes me happy but thier are things in the world that make me happier that money cant buy.

No, it never does. Learned from relative's experiences, and I don't feel the need to express more. Many people that I have known have been successfull and rich, but very, very lonely. In order to gain money, you have to work a lot, right? No time for loved ones. Plus... won't you always want MORE money? Many people and relationships that I have known have been ruined by money. Feel free to believe what you like, though.

I'm not so sure that it brings happiness but it makes feeling unhappy better. You can't buy love, everything else isn't really real, you know. True you can give more to those around you and to charities. So you can feel good but like they say without love you got nothing.

Money can make you Happier. But it can't bring happiness.

A fact is that most people born into rich families don't apreciate much. They don't know the value of a dollar or what it's like to struggle; or live in poverty.

To an extent it can make you happy but it can't make you content. You may have all the money in the world but may not have true happiness, all the real important things in life can't be bought.

You can't buy love, health or peace.

i don't think it does i agree with the giving money to the
poor but disagree highly with the buying stuff and getting what
u want to make u happy. because u can have the stuff in the
world but still be lonely. and without someone people tend
to feel sad. so that's my opoinin :]

Money gives you the freedom to do whatever you want, and sometimes we make decisions that come back and bite us in the butt. I guess it could bring you happiness if you do it right, otherwise, no.

I say it all depends on the person. I would be fine living in the jungle with nothing. But now that I'm in industrialized America I like things. And objects. And stuff. And this costs monies.

All of those things you just mentioned are wonderful. But money still can't buy everything.
