hey. does anyone know what a serial number is? like i know it when ur buying stuff, and when u buy a game. but i downloaded a trial for photoshop and i dont get it?! it says username and serial number.....help?!

This happenend to me once. If you take any of the new versions of Photoshop like CS or CS2 as a trial version, it never works. It asks for a username and a 24 digit serial number, even if u have a choice of installing a 30-day trial. It just wont install Photoshop. You'll have to download the trial version from other sites or download a older version. But it is better to buy Photoshop. The trial version does not allow you to save or to send it to Image reader.

When you downloaded you should have had to fill in a form before you were able to download ... the form would have asked for your email addy ... they would sent the serial number there ... either that or you can just click next and it will time out after the trial period is over

When you download the trial for Adobe Photoshop it gives you thirty days to use it, try it out and stuff. After thirty days it asks you whether you want to purchase it, if you do ,you type in the serial number and you click activate online.
If your using the trial version and do not wish to purchase photoshop then you simply click continue trial. ^_^

Once your trial period has ended, photoshop requires you purchase a serial number. It will also assign you a username. This helps against piracy.... which is illegal by the way.

What they are asking for is..For you to register the product or, to put it another way..Buy it~
The username and serial number would be send to you via an email to enter and make it a fully operational product..
