Has anyone used the mouse traps where once the mouse goes in, it shuts it and kills it, so you don't have to see it? I can't stand the sight of a dead mouse, so am very interested in this kind. Are they a lot more expensive than the old fashioned ones?

They are shaped like a large hockey puck. You twist them open and there is a small hole where the mouse goes in. They are pre-baited and once they go in it twist shut. They are about $4.00 each.

I agree with LJC and wanted to add that I have read about them sometimes activating by themselves with no mouse present. Kind of an expensive "mistake" as they cannot be reset.
