The New England Patriots are one win away from accomplishing something that has only been accomplished once before in the NFL. They're about to go undefeated in the regular season -- 16-0. The 1972 Miami Dolphins were the only other team to go undefeated in the regular season - and the post-season/playoffs for that matter to go 17-0 overall. The '72 Dolphins only had 14 regular season games, while the PATS have 16. This will be the first time a team will go 16-0 in the regular season if they win against the New York Giants on the 29th.

Since this is probably a once in a lifetime feat, ESPN is trying to cover this story as much as they can.

Because team like the Patriots, NY Giants and Eagles practically own the NFL, and all the national broadcasts

If any other team were 15-0 or league wide steamrollers for most of the season, they would be getting the same media coverage. But yes, the Patriots are awesome.

Same could be asked about the New York Yankee and Yahoo spars. I mean when other teams were playing great games the only interviews pre game or post game were from the Yankee players and staff. Maybe they gave them more money who knows.

theyre the only team within reach of perfection, and since it doesnt happen very often, they give them their own line. plus ESPN has the east coast bias

because they are the only team that has the opportunity to go undefeated for an entire season for the last forty years. is that hard to understand for you?
