Yes,if there were problems in the marriage before this episode and this was just a way to justify the end of the marriage. This by itself in a healthy marriage would have done nothing but it a troubled one,it could have serious repercussions as youre finding out. It usually the "little" things that make or break a relationship,especially one thats been having extra challenges in it and Im afraid thats whats happening here. No Not if its a strong marriage. Sounds like that was the last straw for her the straw that broke the camels back. She most likely is unhappy with you for a long time now. And she's just had it.

I would look deeper past this post card something else is a bigger issue.

Tell her that it was an accident and that you ment here it was an innocent mistake in less you have cheated. Maybe if she is still worried tell a friend that was with you or co worker and get them to explain there was no one else with you.
