The identity disaster you allude to isn't approximately the two being asian or a pacific islander, yet between being basically asian/pacific islander and being in part asian *with* some caucasian jumbled in. a great style of Filipinos living interior the Philippines who've in no way left the rustic and haven't any verifiable information of genetic involvement with caucasians of their previous MAKE IT a element to declare to others in verbal replace that are descended from some spanish et al. family contributors. someway this approach is fundamental to preserving their very own experience of wellness and morale and gets them during the day.

well as much as i hate to agree with siagnon it's true many filipinos are corrupt but not all of them if you look at a typical middle-class family( ignoring politicians, actors) you'll see that they are still hospitable and respectful, i'm not saying this because i 'm filipino( actually i'm half chinese) but because it's what i see whenever i look at my classmates parents, my relatives, and even those are not realted to my parents, their officemates etc. so i think we should not limit about our insights on the filipinos because of was happening in the news, we should look at it in a broader way, sorry about that siagnon
