Brown and Blue should be your hot wires since most submersible pumps are 220vac. The green should be ground wire:
But to make sure pull the cover off your circuit box and check it. Make sure the Brown and Blue are going to the pump's circuit breaker.
Next item on list is they make special heat shrink tubing for using on submersible equipment. You need to go to the Electric parts house and get you some before you get started.
Next item if it is solid wire you are going to have to solder it instead of using splicing lugs. If you are using solid going to stranded wire you will need to both use a splicing lug and then solid as well to get a good connection since you can not use wire nuts for this application.
Now don't pull a 3:00AM grave yard shift stunt and make the connections before you put the heat shrink tubing on the wire. Been there done that after fishing all day and going in on graveyards.
Make sure if you have to solder the connections you have the heat shrink tubing back on the wire far enough it does not shrink on you. Again been there done that, raining and temp was 34 degrees. Around 3:00 AM that time was in a big hurry to get back where warm and dry.

Now since your pump has only the two power leads and no ground it is using the water as ground. It should also be piped using some type of PVC pipe.
Still in the event of the well going dry. It is a good idea to connect the ground wire to the pump's casing. This is especially true of the house is plumbed with PVC non conductive piping, but do not loosen any screws or bolts on the motor section of the pump. You do you break the water prood seal.
If the pump does not have a grounding screw on it some where loosen one of the bolts or screws on the pump section of the pump and attach the ground wire there. If the ground wire is solid wire strip enough back to form an eyelet or hook. If it is stranded use a splicing lug.

Now work of caution: Use a heat gun to shrink the heat shrink tubing after you have slipped it over the splices not a cigarette lighter or anything like that. Too much danger of burning through the tubing you do.
If you don't have a heat gun you can use a high temp blow dryer might take longer.
But in any case you will need to make sure the heat shrink tubing has fully shrunk.
Another trick as added precaution is to use what a lot of people call liquid tape. You can get it at most electric parts houses or automotive parts houses.

Mark told you how to burn down your house.
The green is a ground, must be connected. Especially for anything near water like a pump.
If you only have brown and blue on the pump you need to find the ground screw and connect the green there. If you are splicing the power cord you need a 3 wire cord.

Mark didn't really tell you how to burn down the house, but a real good way to get yourself electrocuted. He should stick to home decorating questions...

The green wire needs to be attached to the metal FRAME of the pump. anyway you can connect it. and connect the other end to a ground bar in the power panel.
