My bpyfriend for three yrs wants to go out New Years Eve with his cousin. We always ring in the new year together and he knows i cant go to a club because i'm 7 months pregnant with our son.
I asked him why he cant stay with me for new years eve and he satd he wants to go out.

Relationships are about sacrifices. You both have always rang in the year together. This year, your are close to delivery, the reason you can't go, but that should not decide whether he can go out. do you trust him? Will everything be cool w/ his cousin? If so, let him go, don't make him feel he has no choices. Spend time w/ him up till time for him to go out. You need rest and relaxation, find some of your cousins or girlfriends and have your own fun. You both need room to breathe, he'll appreciate it from you, if he really cares, and you- for him.

That is very offensive, you can't go out b/c you are pregnant and he should be sensitive to that and stay with you and have fun in a more safe and comforting enviroment like your home. Ringing in the new year should be about family and friends but it's not all about partying and getting drunk. If I were you I'd be very upset with him.

i suppose i woud but... if you get to clingy things will fail... just try & work out a plan where BOTH of you are happy...
say have him take you to dinner & a movie maybe & then let him party .....that way you both win...& thats the secret to staying fairly happy....
