For starters, that is not the function of government, HOWEVER...
1. Lowered taxes FOR ALL TAXPAYERS.
2. By lowering taxes, stimulated the economy and a record number of jobs have been created.
3. record job creation leading to record low unemployment.
4. He also tried to get school vouchers passed so that everyone could have a chance at a better education.
5. Tried to allow everyone to invest some of their social security money...considering the INEFFECTIVE way that the government has handled it, it would not be difficult to do better than they have.
So, first, stop relying on the government for your well being. Anyone can succeed in America. You want real help, read AND FOLLOW "The Richest Man in Babylon" Probably the best book ever written on the VERY BASICS of financial success.
Second, give credit where credit is due. Considering all that has come against this country, from the recession handed to Bush...to 9-11, to the corporate scandals (long running, but exposed under Bush's watch) the economy is in much better shape than it would be under a democrat who would INCREASE taxes, leading to decreased revenue and stifling the economy through reduction in investment and reduction in job growth.

Millions of new jobs have been created out of a strong economy. I think that there is a correlation between the Bush tax cuts and the strength of the economy.

The working people need to help themselves instead of depending on whoever is sitting in the white house to do it for them. I did, so can you.

Why is it the government's job to help the "working" people??? Why can't the "working" people take care of themselves instead of depending on the government?
