My spotter has told me that I am doing my back handspring by myself, his hand is just following me. I am physically ready to do my back handspring but I dont trust myself mentally. Any tricks?

That thing happened to me too. the first day i got it, I did it about 5 hours on the trampoline. I decided to do it one more time, but i couldn't i didn't know what happened but it seemed like the thought of going back was unbearable!! I've had it for 5 years now. You just have to get over it. Think, what's gonna happen to me?? You just have to do it. What kinda helped me, was to just keep doing it by yourself. I personally, closed my eyes. I don't know if that will help you though lol. I just kept my mind on locking out my arms and snapping my feet down. A lot of people have that problem with a lot of tumbling. JUST DO IT!!!

Have him do one where he is just giving you a light spot. Then let him take his hand away but stay standing close to you as if he was spotting. With each successful BHS let him back away from you a little bit. Eventually he will be far away and you won't need him anymore.
