Is there any truth to this? Has there been any other source that has confirmed or denied this?

I heard that video. Don't know why the interviewer didn't jump on it at the time. No sure if there is truth to it. As to Bin Laden tapes they all could have been made in advance and set to be released when the situation arises, (if he is dead)

Factually can't be true, just a few months ago, Bin Laden released a video tape that was confirmed by experts to be recent due to his comments regarding current events. Omar Sheikh was arrested back in 2002 and has been in custody since then.

Wasn't Omar Sheikh the guy who had Daniel Pearl kidnapped in 2002? If thats the guy you're talking about than the answer is definately no!
