most times, as carefully as i can.
on those off times that happen on occasion, not very well however.
Make a List. Do all of the "must be done/things of pressing importance" FIRST. Then do the things that you know that you can get done in the least amount of time. Then finish everything else that is a tad bit more time consuming, last.
I find that is the most effective way to get things accomplished. At least, that is what works for me..... usually. lol

*edit* ah..... well, if you're asking about the relationship between work, family and personal interests.... Then i would say, your family (if you have one) should understand the necessity of work. That being said, make sure to set aside time to spend with your family; perhaps one day a week, or specified day per month (or as your schedulle allows) but don't neglect yourself either. Make a point to set aside time for you as well. Maybe one night a week also (or whenever your schedulle allows) to spend with friends doing what you like to do. Work is a necessity. Family is equally important, but so is 'you time'. You need to make sure you are doing things that you like to do so as not to spread yourself too thin between work and family. Otherwise, you'll be very stressed if you haven't any time for yourself to do what you like, and with your friends.

I just make sure that i have everything planned so i can balance it out, hay i am a libra so i can balance anything LOL :)

I follow with my mom.
Time runs very fast with me.
Every time I make lists its hard and I loose track of time.
That's why I don't have time for like anything.
One moment I might be wasting 2 hours on something.
Then I won't have time for something else.
