Would you be overly exciting if you sat in a cage, day in and day out? Rabbits need environmental enrichment, exercise and socialisation. Additionally rabbits are crepuscular, meaning they are most active during dusk and dawn so chances are you are seeing your rabbit when she is chillin'. Due to the nature of keeping rabbits in an enclosure we have altered their normal behaviour, so it isn't really surprising that your doe doesnt run around madly, dig holes, graze and mate. Rabbits are also gregarious, so you could try getting a cage buddy for your doe. However, don't expect her to get along with anyone you put in with her. As with any animal, introductions need to be gradual and doe's can become aggressive towards other females. Obviously, if you give her a buck I would highly recommend getting him castrated as the term "breeding like rabbits" didn't just come from the air!
Your rabbit is being "boring" because she is bored. Try giving her some branches from a fruit tree to chew on, some boxes to play in or hide in, lots of grass hay to rearrange and graze and of course let her out to exercise daily (or as frequently as possible). You can even try bringing her inside to explore, and litter training is usually quite successful - just make sure she can't chew anything or get stuck anywhere. Your doe will become much friendlier and a lot happier. There are quite a lot of good websites on the net about making indoor enclosures, environmental enrichment and info about rabbit behaviour.

How big is her cage? Does she have any toys? Does she have any FRIENDS?

In the wild, rabbits live in huge communes with many other rabbits around. They have large areas to explore and run in.

So you put a rabbit in a small cage with no other rabbits around and nothing to do -- if you think YOU are bored, she's probably bored nearly to DEATH.

If you can get her a rabbit friend, it might help -- BUT DON'T do this unless you know how to properly introduce them.

If you can't get her a friend, at least get her a BIG BIG cage, full of lots of toys. Her cage should be about the size of a ROOM, with different levels. If you can't do that, then spend as much time with her as you can, playing GENTLY. Make up tunnels for her to explore. Change things around in her cage. Make sure she always has hay and other things to munch on.

Get the advice of some rabbit experts on how to improve HER life. Then your life with her will improve too!

I had a rabbit recently. All it ever did was sit in its cage eat, poop and drink. When I let it out of its cage it would run around my room and would always get into things, the minute I went to put him back he would try to run away and scratch me really badly when i picked him up. I had to get rid of him because rabbits are very expensive.

I think that rabbits are meant to be out in the wild and hate being stuck in a cage. They love attention and love, which a lot of time they cant get because people are always busy with every day life, and if you dont have the time, like i did, they may turn on you and become agressive and unhappy.

-Look at it from your Rabbit's point of view; Wouldn't YOU be bored to tears living the Life IT does with YOU- 24/7 ?! MOST of the creatures we domesticate are alot happier & better off in the Wild- than they are, cooped up in cages (& forgotten half the time) in our bedroom. WE belong in Houses- they don't. So if you REALLY care for your Bunny- you'll take her Outside every chance you get... :)

If you want your rabbit to have fun, build a big fenced area in your back yard and put him in it! he'll have fun running around, but make sure the fence is tall enough
