He's uncomfortable and he's showing off. Why he's uncomfortable around his family is kind of strange; they should be the ones he is 'most' comfortable around.

I can relate because my husband use to do the same thing. I found out that his true self was in front of his people and I will get who I wanted him to be at home. Unless his willing to change his ways and stop being a jerk in front of his people. I will not go around his family or family events until his ready to treat you like the Queen that you are all the time. Because the family won't treat you no better then him. Tell him get his ACT together

You married too youthful. in case you have been thinking approximately breaking apart with him while he asked you why the hell did you're saying confident? you're actually not emotionally mature sufficient to be married. If advise FFS in case you will cheat on him what's the element in in simple terms kissing the guy, you cant even try this suitable. flow away him till now you become pregnant and placed across an harmless newborn into this motor vehicle crash or a relationship.

First thing that comes to my mind is that your husband's family probably has different values than the values that your husband and yourself have in your own marriage.
In other words... I wonder if your husband's family simply treats women like crap and he does not want his family to know that he does not treat his wife like crap and pretends while he is there.

He likely reverts back to a more immature form of himself. Kind of like how a little boy acts tough in front of his girlfriend.
Chances are he does not even realize he does it.
Just accept it and realize you are powerless to change this quirk of his.
We all have our own character defects.
Good luck.

Not sure, but i wouldn't tolerate it.. in fact i'd ask him about how he feels when he's at his parents.. and let him know you feel like an enemy at his parents' too. You don't have to argue, let him know you're concerned and feel uncomfortable.
Maybe he will think about it?
