As some of you know, I woke up with really high blood sugar & felt like crap all day! I just finally got the house looking half-way decent enough to come back on here! Geez! Can't a girl have just ONE day off without the place looking like a tornado hit it?

There's been a statistic floating around for a few years how, if you add up all the hours a woman cooks, cleans, cares for children, etc. and compared it to today's market wages for the same tasks, you should be paid something like $150.00 an hour for the value of your work!

They should realize how important your are and how needed you are. When you are sick, you should get assistance and help to get chores done. I think you should go out on strike. Gather some neighbor wives and get picket signs and show the men how important you are! That really happened back in the 70's (I believe).

I've been sick in bed with the flu for the last 3 days. My boyfriend and my cats are very self sufficient. Thankfully.

Yes, I was sick and didn't have a clean spoon so I threw the bowl of cereal I had just made. Now I am better, so I have to clean up a kitchen full of cocoa puffs!!!
