With puberty, there's a big change in a female's body, including breast development AND a bit more fatty tissue under the skin. That makes women's bodies look a bit more curvy or softly padded, which feels different to the touch than a female's skin does before puberty. But, it's not enough to cause a female to suddenly look fat.
With puberty, though, there's all kinds of changes in how we turn food into energy . . .our metabolic processes. After puberty, our weight and dietary needs change a bit. If a female eats right and is active, she will not have problems with extra pounds after all those metabolic changes. BUT, if a female doesn't eat a balanced diet and isn't exercising and staying active, those metabolic changes can pack on a few pounds. So, the sooner that a female goes through puberty, the sooner those weight changes are possible. But, just eat right and exercise and your weight will remain stable.
(Did you know that even our tastes in food and beverages can dramatically change with puberty? Just for a made-up example, if you despised grape jelly before puberty, you might love it after puberty. AND, the same thing happens again at the end of your reproductive years, at menopause.)

Don't believe those women, one thing that I've learned about Y.A is that there are NO FAT WOMEN on Y.A and there are NO WOMEN WITH LOW SEX DRIVE on Y.A, or there are a lot of liars.
There is some truth to your question,
I noticed that most of the girls who had developed bodies in junior high school became a bit "porky" in high school and later grew up to be fat women.
The girls who were skinny and flat chested in junior high developed into normal young girls in high school and later had nice figures, though some through laziness poor eating habits and child birth did get fat, but not nearly the percentages that the "early bloomers"did.

No. I "had boobs" in 6th grade, and was quite skinny in high school.

No, of course not. I had a decently-sized chest when I was 13, and I was never fat.
