I dint really see the problem with it but the woman has to be a strong willed, tough person. In politics beauty is not going to get you respect. Look at some of the most famous political women in history and you will see that they didn't have good looks but they had a tough attitude egg Winnie Mandela, Margaret Thatcher(former prime minister of Britan), Madeleine Albright and CONDI RICE.

Politics has no room for beautifull women but you do have the exception to the rule like Princess Di, Benezire Bhutto and Yulia Tymoshenko (Current Prime Minister of the Ukrain google her and you will see what i mean lol)

Heck yea we should have a woman president.

Women are getting out of the days of just having babies and laying on our backs. It is time we take a higher role and show this world what a woman is capable of. We are not all emotional and wishy washy. Woman are strong and independent and unconventional thinkers. More power to women presidents. However, even a monkey would make a better president than the current dumb a** Bush!!!

Clinton for president!!!

it really matters more about what the persons beliefs are and how that will affect the choice policies that will affect the running of the country. if the beliefs of the person are in sync with my own then i vote for them if the candidate happens to be female and competent then that's just icing on the cake, unfortunately in Australia only men seem to make it far enough politically to make it into the running for prime minister. i would like to see a woman running my country, i bet she would do a much better job of it then whats been offered up in the past .

As long as she's the best person for the job, which would be more than we can say for the current president. You need to re-read before you post; you wrote "women" instead of "woman."

I believe we should definitely have a woman president!!! But I also believe that our first woman president should not be Hilary Clinton. We need a strong, indepent woman who knows what she is doing.

I believe a woman can lead as good as a man can.

But just because its fine to have a woman as president, it doesn't makes hillary clinton a fine choice

i think this country just needs change from a white male. Whether its a woman or a black man, we will become a better country. Personaly, i want Obama over Clinton because she has lied several times and Obama would be a bigger and better step.

umm... why does it matter?
If the best candidate is a girl than yes...
I don't like Hillary Clinton ...
but if in four years there is another woman
who is the best candidate why not?
I think this country has done too much against segregation and women rights to still be hung up on that crap...
