Free my mind from what? Love, Joy, Happiness ? Obviously not. Negative emotions ? It`s pretty difficult getting to the top of the ladder without being on them other wrungs for a while. That`s the lesson for today. It`s okay to be there in negative emotion for a short while for clarity of the goal but the longer one stays on them, the harder it is to move on. Just like a mountain climber doesn`t make the whole climb without stopping, we must also take some time to make sure we are going in the right direction, even to sleep for a while, but then it`s back to Work , Discipline.
It can be a solitary climb, but when you get there, what a rush!
What I mean by solitary is that nobody does it for you. In truth the further up one goes, the more birds of a feather one attracts and there is no better kind than happy loving friends.
P.S. Might as well take care of the body if you``re gonna boogie on up the road. Bravo brava !!! (to whom it may concern)

Mental slavery is the hardest to overcome and yes, that lyric is very fitting for religion. Redemption Song has always been my favorite of Marley's.

I started freeing my mind from the constraints of 'common thought' years ago. now I continue to 'spread the word' (regardless of the expressions i often get) waiting for the rest of the world (more specifically here in the usa) to 'ketchup.' I doubt it'll happen in my lifetime but I'm certainly encouraged as of late.

~~~ I'll be "Jammin" with Bob Marley & The Wailers. Seriously. I listen to The King Of Reggae 24/7 ."Lively Up Yourself","don't be no drag,lively up yourself cause reggae is another bag!" I love Bob Marley. It's gonna be a great new year because I quit smoking cigarettes. ~~~
