Bascially (I assume the Al pacino version) a Cuban immigrant from the mariel boat lift, comes to florida and builds a huge drug empire, fueled by cocaine. Alas, all comes to a violent and untimely end

I agree that Scarface is overrated, but I still think it's amazing, because of Al Pacino's performance. Overacting or not, who cares, it was entertaining as hell. As a whole though, I'll say Inglorious Basterds. Tarantino is the man. BQ: Nah, not really. Ask me month and my answer may be Twilight, the new one. BQ2: It's almost impossible to choose just one. Moonrise Kingdom or Django Unchained, I'll say. The Silver Linings Playbook is set for 2013 right now, but that too. BQ3: Rabbit Hole or An Education.

Just watch the film you will enjoy it.
Its all about Mafia but parental advisory is required if you are gonna have kids watching it with you.
The beginning of the movie is slightly gruesome but dont worry about it. Follow the film to the end of it and you will understand it.
The film is based on the 80s As an immigrant from the US comes to the US (Tony Montana) and makes a lot of mone through drug trafficking. Eventually he becomes a mafia but he starts having problems when he refuses to do what the mafia drug lord from colombia tells him to do.
I really like the movie because it gives me a good feeling about the 80s lifestyles. The music and all gives some kind of memories of the 80s. Although you may find it slightly or highly offensive because of frequent vulgar language used in the movie. Apart from that the storyline is great & drammatic.

To sum things up in short. It's about a Cuban immigrant who came the the USA to make a better life but sees that working like an average man is a chump job. So he devotes his life to crime and becomes everything he ever dreams of and more. But at a price. He has to sacrifice certain things and certain people. It all eats him up in the end and the own people he worked for in crime end up killing him because of a job that he was suppose to do that he screwed up. He dies in a blaze of glory super high on cocaine.
Oh he kills his best friend and his sister.
In the end its a classic film, stupid in a way but Al Pacino is great in it.

Tony takes drugs and sells drugs.He makes a whole bunch of money. Some ones out to get him. They kill his sister and himself at the end. Sorry if I spoiled the ending for you.
