If so, what type of book is it?
And can you share some tips on how to find a great agent? Or do you have to submit to them and if they think they can sell your work they'll take you on?
ANY tips are appreciated...
Thanx!

I am in the process of getting my book published (and since it was brought up I will do a shameless promotion "Twylite Epiphany" buy it) anyway it is a long and arduous process and for me to get my agent was pure luck. You have to create a query letter and send it to the agent. Several will reply but make sure there is no "reading fee" or managing fee upfront. If they ask for anything upfront then they are a sham artist. Once you get past that you will get responses and then you just follow their requests and eventually they will get you into press. three things that really helped me . make a great synapses 2. DO NOT give up 3. research, research, research. My book took 3-4 years to write and about a year to find an agent, just remember don't let setbacks make you quit and you'll be fine
