If you atheists think you're so smart, than why would you think there is an answer to the big bang? The big bang created the universe, which you are in and can't escape. There is basically no explanation to it so just drop it!

current observations and evidence point to the existence of a big bang. There is no 'answer' to the event. As an atheist, i'm not sure what you're asking?

That was an achieved argument. Let's go with you final premise "There is basically no explanation". Well, let us think for a moment, is there an explanation? How about this: The universe is expanding and will continue to expand until the point at which the total sum of mass in the universe bares enough gravitational force to start pulling everything back in. Once This point is reached, all matter and energy will continue to come close together until all matter and energy reach a singularity, the sum total of energy and mass, and BANG.
Well, there is an explanation, it's a long process, billions or trillions of years or so, but it is happening, and will happen via the laws of gravity (would someone like to explain the laws of god please, without spewing rhetoric from you pastor or the bible, which was written by men, 300 years after the death of christ?).
And, it's not atheist only that believe the big bang, it's scientist, and physicists, you know, smart people.

a million. the great Bang theory is silent approximately introduction. It describes the evolution of the universe AFTER it grew to become into in a state of unbounded temperature or power density. 2. the guidance given to scientists by means of the universe is an identical for all, no count number if the scientist is atheist, agnostic, believer or pagan. a great style of scientists are engaged on the reason. the biggest subject perfect now's no longer the registered faith (or lack thereof) of the scientists however the actuality that our understanding of physics can not take us greater decrease back than the Planck Time (look it up -- that's an exceedingly, very short while AFTER time 0). 3. the great Bang theory comes from a speculation formulated by means of a Christian priest. The concurrent theory on the time, the stable State theory, grew to become into formulated by means of atheists. All scientists nevertheless have faith that we can be attentive to the way the universe began off. a number of those scientists are atheists and there is not any reason they could desire to no longer experience an identical way with the aid of fact something human beings.

Well, now that you've thrown an exclamation temper tantrum....Not all atheists believe in the Big bang. Most could not mathematically demonstrate the logic that brought mathematicians to the theory, so in a sense that is faith as well. Faith in rationalism and empiricism.

But if your reasoning is "since there is no definite explanation of the beginning than you should believe in "x" " I'd say that's fairly foolish. Especially if "x" requires a leap of faith that cannot be produced by a rationalist without reason.

One cannot see the emperors clothes just because you say they are stupid if they do not see them.

When the Big Bang Theory was suggested, the Pope actually adopted the theory as an explaination and proof that God exists.

It's supposed that a group of scientists appealed to his sense as to not confuse the boundry between religion and science in society and he wisely listened. It is in all, just a theory afterall.

You should read a book or two. Find something unbiased and written from actual factual knowledge about the world and universe around us.

You might learn something real for a change. But then again, you wouldn't want to challenge your faith with fact and end up burning in Hell for all eternity.

Come on... Really? Just for using the faculty of reason that "He" supposedly gave most of us?

If I have to burn in hell because I actually took a little time to read a book and comprehend the implications, I'm going to be PISSED.

The MIND of the atheist is driven by a deep-seated fear of which the atheist is quite unaware. The basic Defense Mechanism at work is referred to in mental health as the phenomenon of "Scotoma"... and although some in mental health know about this phenomenon, precious few have a clue as to how it operates or what "causes" it.

The atheist "thinks" incessantly using the Left-Hemisphere of his/her brain because this is the primary symptom of the Defense Mechanism of ones MIND when it is protecting one from what one [often unknowingly] fears. The MIND of the atheist fears the "Unknown" Spiritual realm within him/herself. This fear is a common one for Man, but for certain individuals, like the atheist, this fear is so intense that its denial becomes a phobic neurosis.

A phobia is a fear intense enough that it generates an energy that must be vented in some way that does not expose the phobia itself. For the atheist, this phobia takes the form of a denial of God and things Spiritual.

For the atheist to even intellectually entertain the notion of a "big bang" he/she would have to consider an "Unknown" and this the atheist's MIND cannot allow. Therefore, the MIND of the atheist feeds the Left-Hemisphere of his/her brain delusional thoughts intended to maintain the atheist's denial, and projection of the energy of that denial in what we know as the ideas and notions of atheism.

I hate to point out the obvious, but the "Big Bang theory" was esposed by atheists.
Check out the websites: the "Big Bang Theory" is violating the First Law of Thermodynamics.

So now you see what it is like when you go around pushing your conjured up story down people's throat. It is esier to prove christianity wrong than to prove the big bang wrong. And I still am not accepting the more credible latter for lack of unanswerable proof, so go figure on yourself. Peace

"An answer"? I didn't know there was a question. Atheists believe in the Big Bang. What we don't believe is that the material that blew up was "created." Nor do we believe a creator blew it up.

yeah we thought that about earthquakes, lightning and infections for a few thousand years. Aren't you glad we just gave up and looked to the bible for answers to those questions?
