Yes.
I had many ear infections as a baby and eventually went deaf. I had ear surgery when I was 3 which restored some of my hearing. I am 13 now but still have some hearing loss.
My dad is hard of hearing from an accident he was in, when he was in the army, and my mom is hard of hearing from listening to very loud music as a teenager. My step - grandad has a bad hearing problem too. It seems to run in the family but is a coincidence, not actually genetic.
Yes, there are other hearing impaired teens out there. I've always wondered this myself.

I do not have an official declaration in some medical book that says I am hearing impaired. But when I was a baby I fell off or was dropped off my dad's shoulders. He thinks that's why I can't hear very well. But when he gets impatient with my inability I feel wrong saying "Well it is your fault so stop yelling!!!" Even though I really want to.

3)when someone whispers in my right ear i cant hear a thing
4)when i standing next to someone with my deaf ear closest i cant ver well and have to move
5)everyone says i speak soft when i think im pretty loud
So if u cant hear as well from an ear uve got it easy, but hey atleast im not completely deaf =]

Well, people don't usually announce that they are hearing impaired when answering questions. But there probably are.
