ok i rele want to be an actress/singer. and people say that i couldnt even make my high school play! =( what can i do to get on tv? its my dream. i love to sing, i love to dance, i love to act. please.

Well, there are plenty of television and film actors who are not multitalented. That doesn't mean they didn't try when they were your age. Don't let anyone discourage you. Just because you may not be the next Kristen Chenoweth doesn't mean you couldn't make it into the schol play and just because you're not the lead doesn't mean you're not a valuable member of the cast. Audition, but before that surround yourself with more positive energy. Don't forget that it's very important to be prepared. Know all you can about the show you're auditioning for as well as the character you hope to get. With your audition song, make sure you choose the right piece for your voice and the character that you want. If at all possible get to a professional voice teacher or coach asap. Even if it's only for a couple of sessions, they can give you some good info. Take a voice recorder or tape recorder.
As for tv, you need an agent and in order to get to that step you need training and a resume. If the school play is not your bag audition for student and indie films in your area. You can build a resume that way and probably a lot better than with a school play especially if you don't sing or dance to the caliber required to get a lead in musical theatre. Everyone's talents lie in different areas so don't be discouraged, just be grateful for the gifts that you do have and are blessed with.
Once you've built a good resume of student and indoe projects you can submit to agents in your state or the nearest metro area and see where it takes you from there. If you have your parents full support, have them check these sites out with you. backstage.com (casting search) and actorsaccess.com

Well how about we try the high school play first and see how that turns out. Especially the musical which covers all those things you like to do. Start small and then work your way up.

TELL THOSE PPL TO EFFIN SHUT UP! you could make your high school play i bet. do what you want to do and dont listen to what other people say. go for it! uhmm once in a blue moon on the radio if they had audition ppl in your town, they would tell u to call a # and you could audition for a certain tv show. on kiss fm in wisconsin they actually asked for ppl to audition for a tiny little part in the suite life of zack and cody or hannah montana! follow your dreams, and good luck!

dont listen to what other people say, if you believe you can do it, then you can do it, you can try and audition for tv shows or maybe even a local play in your city. dont waste any opportunity to share your talent. same with me, my dream is to be a singer. ;) godd luck to both of us then! :)
