~~~ The first door closed on me when my husband of over 23 years had a heart attack and passed away on December 10th of 2004. I was devastated of course & wasn't looking for another open door. Then after failing at my own death a miracle occurred & a door was opened when the daughter of my elderly neighbors asked me to help her care for her parents who needed round the clock care. The man was an invalid & the lady had severe dementia,but they were a pleasure to work with & we grew very close. I finally felt loved & needed again after losing my soulmate,and I was no longer lonely.....Then they died too! First Bessie,two years to the day that my husband passed away. Geo went three months later. I felt like another door had been slammed hard in my face again,but I knew from experience with this kind of thing ,that I had to find something else to do right away. The newly opened door was this computer I bought,and am teaching myself how to use. It's fun & I'm not lonely again,because now I can hook up with my relatives & friends all over the world. Now all I have to do is learn how to type. ~~~
I got fired on a Tuesday and got a job offer the next day. I had been talking to the new company but wasn't going to take the offer because they would not make up for the bonus I was walking away from. When I got fired (which came out of nowhere) they gave me my bonus as a parting gift.
God loves me. :-)
