Chickens are not lactating animals since they're not mammals; they have no mammary glands and therefore they DON'T HAVE NIPPLES OR BREASTS. So, you actually eating the muscles and meat that is on the chicken's chest.

Nah, I suppose it simply means the whole abdominal area of the chicken. And chickens aren't mammals, so they don't have mammary glands. You can relax. :)

the breast is the center portion. i think its the whitest of the chicken and has the most meat per area.
