first off be honest withyourself, then be honest with him&your parents.your happiness is up to you know one else. like they say you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink! it is your decision on who you like,no else.you chooselove,it doesnt choose you

First off, tell your parents that you are not interested in him and are going to find a
musician who plays in a rock band to be with. Then tell this poor guy that you led on for the past 2 years that it is over between you both and that you do not feel the same way that he does and are moving forward with your life.
He will be hurt however you tell him. So tell him and do not be cowardly about it or he may think you are not serious.

He's going to be hurt no matter how you do it. Letting him claim his love for you for 2 years without you saying your real feelings has probably made him feel that there is hope that you will. Tell him that you know he's a good person, and are flattered by his feelings for you, but that you just don't feel the same.

Good luck
