God DID create evil just as the Bible says:

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7, KJV)

Not exactly logic there good buddy. You see evil is not a physical substance and the religious claim is that God created the Universe physically ie. the planets stars water light etc. It says nowhere in the Bible or the Qur'an, that I'm aware of ,that God created all ideas emotions or behaviours.

Evil is an adjective not a thing . I can call a chicken evil or a car evil or a person or a deed. My calling it so doesn't make it so and even if it did it is only a description of the person place or thing that is the subject of my statement.

So if you call evil a physical thing then you are right. If you call it an adjective then your theory doesn't hold water.

I hope this answers your question.
PEACE

I am not at level 2 so I couldn't rate the previous answer. He is right. Evil IS the absence of God just like cold and darkness is the absence of heat and light. This is the best answer I ever heard to this question and I believe I got it from a book called "A Case for Christ," by Lee Stobel
Read it, you will get more logical than you can imagine.

Technically that would make sense but only in Christian theology. If you were to think of the creation in a more meaningful way then you could think that evil is needed to know what good is. In my faith I believe that evil is a animal or human component that you must overcome to see the likes of "God" or the creator. So in those senses evil would not necessarily be "evil" it would be necessary in order for life to truly exist. Also "Evil" is a human made word for things that are bad but what is "evil" to one person may be great to another. That is the beauty of creation and debate. In actuality (as the theory goes) humans need a evil like we need air so in that sense nothing can truly be evil; wouldn't you think?

okay. God created everything we have that down. The reason we have evil is not necessarily because God created it but it is because the only perfect thing is God. If you need more info go the Bible.

Here some thoughts on a Restricted God, perhaps in an angle where God can not be cold but only Heat. Perhaps this Restricted God concept works with General Masses leading them to lead a civilized life with a civil society with a decorum. But for the thoughtful here another link into a totally Unrestricted God with a holistic view, perhaps beyond the level of the normal pettiness and selfishness of General Masses that do not think much before doing the things ..

"I know nothing of philosophical philanthropy. But I know what I have seen, and what I have looked in the face in this world here, where I find myself. And I tell you this, my friend, that there are people (men and women both, unfortunately) who have no good in them--none. That there are people whom it is necessary to detest without compromise. That there are people who must be dealt with as enemies of the human race. That there are people who have no human heart, and who must be crushed like savage beasts and cleared out of the way."

God created the basics he created the universe. Evil was created by man. He gave man the choice of good and evil and some men chose evil.

God created good, directly: He also gave the power to create, to some of His creations, thus making indirect creations possible! Evil springs up now and then, as a result!

What's wrong for God created evil?

God need helping hand to do his work. Just like employer and employee. That is the reason for Satan able to enter the Garden of Eden.
