The parties have changed positions again.
The R used to end wars not start them.
They used to be the party of fiscal responsibility. Now they are the borrow and spend, borrow and spend party.
The R used to be the party that wanted less government, less regulation, and more freedom. Now they are the party that wants to eliminate all rights and regulate every part of your personal life. They have created the largest government in the history of man kind.
R would say. Lets get the Bill of Rights down to a manageable six, and simplify those. Except the right to keep and bear arms that one is OK.
The R used to be the party of freedom.
That is why I WAS a lifetime Republican. I haven't changed.

Yes, somewhat.
First off, none of those wars you mentioned was started by an American President.
But the two mentioned, that we won, were won with the leadership of Democratic Presidents.

I think all the little wars were started by the Bushes; hence, "Bush Wars". The Republican/corporate/military regime was warned about by no other than Pres. Eisenhower in his fare well address in 1960.

You need to do your homework. Republican Presidents were in office when we got into each of those wars. Now add the Iraq War to that list.

We didn't "start" either world war - we got pulled into them.
And you would think that the Republicans would have learned from our mistakes in the other two wars, but alas, they did not. So now we have another Vietnam right here.

I beg to differ...Republicans were in office at the start of WWI and Vietnam, FDR, a Democrat, was president from 33 to 44, so WWII , yes, he was in charge, but remember, WE were attacked, right?
