How come more people who answer questions in the Senior section don't have a "360" profile? Please don't mention that I don't have a picture on my avatar. I am not so computer savvy..

To Curious Connie:
A "360 profile" is more info you can give next to your avatar. You can add as much or as little as you want. I added alot so people can get to know me better..

I'm still working on mines. I'm not too good with all this stuff yet. I'll share when I'm done though.
Don't hold your breath though.

Good question...another star for you!

Keep safe.

What's a 360 profile? I'm not computer savvy either.

I have one and I am computer savvy, but I don't seem that much use in a 360 profile, so haven't spent that much time with it.

I already have several websites and myspace profiles to maintain as is.

I'm not too keen on sharing my personal information on the Internet. I'm quite happy with the brief description that is in my YA profile, and anything I feel like sharing on YA.

To put a face on your avatar, just click on your face when you get onto the Yahoo 7 My Page. When you click on it, you'll be presented with a multiplicity of faces and characteristics to choose from. Its easy and fun if you have a half-hour to spend.

I have a 360, with blogs and with pictures, too.
I'm also on MYSPACE at the insistence of a couple of my past Sunday school kids who I had when they were in 3rd grade and have grown up quite a bit. Working on giving it a back ground.

Guilty.I am no computer expert and was going to give more detail and get to know others. then came a spate of alarmist entries that made it seem like opening Pandora's box and I really don't need grief as i come on here to relax. Having been on other subjects which had me cringing I find Seniors a pleasant place to visit...maybe soon.

As for myself, I don't know what it is, I probably wouldn't know how to get one, and profile sounds like I would have to put something on it. I don't know what that would be. So what is a 360 profile?

Guess I don't use it because I figured I share much of myself here on Answers, and that was enough. Talk about baby steps....it took me months to add anything to my profile itself, and even longer to start setting up contacts, which I still need to work on. Even babies would have gotten the hang of all this faster than me....lol!

Perhaps because many of us don't want to share personal information with the millions of con artists, hackers & identitiy thieves who use the internet & target people who post far too much about themselves and/or their lives! Add the perverts & sexual deviants to the mix & it's no wonder most seniors don't want to take a chance on using this particular feature of the Yahoo site!

I have a 360* need to update it more. If anyone that don't have one notices it shows at top of your profile so anyone can clip and go right to it.

I have a 360 but don't update it very often. I'm the same way with my MySpace. I try to keep my website up to date, tho.

I guess I'm one of the least anonymous people on the Internet.

BTW, that really my pic on my avatar.

If you don't have one, it's another free thing that Yahoo has and the Yahoo equivalent of MySpace.
