I start high school next year and my mom just said that I need to start thinking about where I want to go I mean I am litterally shaking right now. Is high school horrifying or was it the best years of your life. What was your experience in high school. Please I am really worried so please answer.

i think hs was so fun...you get to meet a lot of people...i moved to my skool in the middle of my 9th grade year and was sooooo scared...the beginning of my 10th grade year i was scared cuz i didn't know anyone but i made the varsity volleyball team and met the greatest people...now pretty much everyone in the high school knows me!!! have fun with it...it goes by soooooooo fast!!!!!

What's up dude?,
I am a senior in high school. High School is seriously not as horrifying as it is thought to be. I personaly think the hardest part to high school is learning your way around. Once you get in there and you get situated (it only takes two days, since you will be going to block schedualing.)(If you didnt have it in your middle school). If you haven't experienced block schedualing you will like it. But back to your question, you will be fine. I remember my first day of high school, I was shaking too, don't worry too much. I am starting college next year and I am horrifyed. Trust me, the only thing that is calming my nerves about it, is know that some of my friends and my girlfriend are going to the same school. So don't think it's just you, because it's NOT! Hope this helped you out a little bit coming from a senior.
P.S. If you don't know what block schedualing is then just reply back.(I didn't want to talk your ear off with something that you already knew)

Dude,
Think positive. You will meet new friends, new girl friends. Experience new ideas. You'll be able to participate in many activities that you weren't able to before.
If you sense danger, talk it out with your mom. High school was one of the best experiences.
Stop shaking. Slow down, break up the idea of High School into little parts:
New schedule - scary or not
Friends
Curriculum
School
Teachers
Break the concept of High School down and needle out the parts that scare you. They probably scare you because you don't know enough about that area. So-o study that area. Finally go into High School with a super positive attitude. All new things have a risk, but that is life. You made it so far, why would it change.

I was in the same position as you, nervous about starting my first day as a freshman. High school is NOT horrifying. It will be just fine. You'll see. I know that I did. My experience with being in high school was OK. It wasn't great and it wasn't horrible. There are some good memories that I have from being in high school. Enjoy being a high school student.

Its ok...just take a deep breath, and relax, High school can be the best years of your life, but you have to make it so....what i mean by that is that you can choose your new friends and what you want to do in regards to extra ciricular activities. Stuff like that can make or break how you view high school...oh yes but dont forget about your classes. I am sure you will enjoy all 4 years. Good luck!!!!!!

I'm a senior and all i got to say is...be prepared! There will be times when you want to give up but don't. You need to make your fun. Don't be afraid to take risks once in a while. Your going to make many friends and also many memories. And always remember, you don't go to high school to find your husband, you go to find your bridesmaids. I'm sure you'll be fine.It's really not bad. =]

high school is not bad! people say that it is the worst but i think its just like anything else. sure the older kids can be a little tough but im sure that it wont be half as bad as what ure thinking!
