Hinge bushing, The door hinge is held together by pins about 4 inches long. The pins rotate in bushings in the hinge assembly. they can be replaced. They are not universal from one make to another but GM only has a few different pins and bushing designs.

They aren't universal - different doors have different size door pins, hence different size door bushings. They look like a small brass sleeve that goes between the hinge pin and the door hinge bracket, and they have a knurled exterior with a flange around the upper edge.
