Omg, yes. Yes!!! I'm screaming, ok, "Run!" Then I wind up thinking in utter frustration and defeat, "Here we go again, with the stupid chick tripping over a tree root or her own freakin' stupid heels." Give me a break. Only in the movies.
Another thing that irks me is that a lot these classic horror flicks are right-wing morality tales. Teenagers making out in the back seats of cars (or more) always get it in the neck before the movie is over. What's going on there? What is that supposed to tell us? That we had better be good or the zombies will eat us? Thanks, mom. Right? Ha.

I thought 'bimbo' came from our part of the world.
I hate it when the guy kicks her out of the other side of the car and yells "run for it darlin' and he runs in the opposite direction and the silly cow chases after him. He the silly dick stops and they both get caught.

haha i've never really thought to be offended by this--i actually find it kind of entertaining! however, i mainly see this in classic horror movies: many more modern ones porytray women as survivors/heroes.
i guess it is stereotypical though--like they porytray us as these helpless creatures that need to be saved, or as weak and denfenseless. but then, that adds to the suspense, so i guess for me, it all evens out in the end...

well ya all horror movies suck though, they only rely on lots of boob shots to get people to watch it. like the girls running through the forest and the cameras zooming in on her boobs the whole time.
