Let's put it this way.....you can make a healthier burger at home than fast food places. If you use ground sirloin or a very lean hamburg mixture (4% or less) then grill it so any fat drips out and away from the burger, and then you use low cal condiments and whole wheat buns then your burger can be quite healthy.

The answer all depends upon the type of meat used and how the meat is prepared. Generally speaking homemade hamburgers would be healthier unless allowed to sit in the grease they cook in.

I would believe so. It also depends on where you get it from. McDonald's vs. home hamburgers = home hamburgers
home hamburgers vs. grilled weight watchers burgers = varies
I guess the burger varies where you get it and what you put on it.

In Asia giant sized portions from McDonalds and Burger King are a huge hit. They have sizes the USA does not offer. It's funny how out in non western countries they get excited about our junk foods in America.

As far as the nutrition of the burger, it would be about the same. But at least at home you can guarantee the safety of the food.

tons healthier.... a McDonald's burger (big mac) has 42 grams of fat in it and has about 1250 calories... if you ate two big macs that would be = to the amount of calories a person would eat at breakfast lunch and dinner.... make your burgers at home

usually yes. well depending on if you use premade patties or you beef you grind yourself and shape into patties. It also depends what restaurant you are getting them from. whether its mcdonalds or wendys, or a high-end restaurant or pub it differs on the freshness and quality of the meat.

I would say it would be healthier if you used a less fat version and bbq it rather than fry it.
