Most of the paints you find in the interior of a home are lighter colors, whites, cream, badge,etc...most caulking used is white & caulking can be very messy..so painters wear white clothes because the lighter shades of paint want show on their clothes that well..and it is a type of uniform, just like any other, hoped this helped....just for fun....lol

It's because they like to "bedazzle" their clothes, and it shows up better on white.
(Probably because paint is more often white than any other color).

maybe because if they wore black, they wouldn't be able to show off all the fun colors they've painted.
