IDK, I think it's silly to be afraid of clowns.

Clowns represent extremes. In a way they are the essence of life depicting comedy and tragedy in an insanely exaggerated form. And it's scary to see life's extremes depicted in such a simple way.
That's just a theory...

I'm not sure......... but i know that personally, i am of the select group that is absolutely terrified of them. Creepy ba$tards.
They make me cry. Seriously. Isn't that sad!!? I'm a grown woman and i'll seriously turn on the water works at a kids party if a clown shows up. *sighs*

I hear many people say that after they saw the movie IT, steven king stuff. I was never afraid of clowns.

I always had a fear of clowns,when i was little i had this hand-painted clown picture hanging of my bed and it was like ultimately scary....................
