it means there isn't much fat between his muscles and his skin, and you can see the lines and definition of his muscles. You can be buff but not ripped, you can be muscular but not ripped. A "ripped" guy will have a low body fat percentage to go along with his muscles, you basically see the rippling muscles through the skin easier.

Ripped means that a person is drunk, pathetic, ugly not much going on with 'em.

It could also mean muscular, it would really depend on who you were talking to in terms of their culture and common use of the word.

It means that they are gay because only the gay guy is going to put the necessary time in @ the gym to get ripped (which by the way means muscular)

when someone says a uy is ripped, they mean that the guy usually has visible muscles without having to flex... so you could see he has abs or big arms then you would say he is ripped
