on the 7th December this year i had a miscarriage, now, (well being happening for around 10 days) i have been having very watery light pink 'period', is this normal after a miscarriage or could it show infection?? i didnt have a d&c as it appeared i had 'cleared' myself.

I had a miscarriage September 23rd with no D&C...they say that if you miscarry before your first trimester ends you don't need one. Afterwards I did have a discharge but it was brown like at the end of a normal period and from the point I miscarried to the end of the "cycle" it was 13 days. So if you keep bleeding for the next 5 days or so call your doc.

Not everyone needs a D&C after a miscarriage. I've had 4 miscarriages, and no D&C because I stopped bleeding, and my hcg levels went back down to 0, that tells the doctors that you passed everything. You should talk to your doctor. Tell him you have not stopped bleeding yet. And if you haven't already had a hcg test at 0, have them do one and check what your levels are.
I bled between 1 and 2 weeks with mine.
