Hi, I would be grateful if you could offer me some advice. I would like to purchase a house in the USA and I have found a property which I am interested in. The thing is I live in London and I just wanted to know how difficult it would be for me to close the deal. I have the cash in hand so I won't be needing mortgage. Also how long do you think it will take to complete the transaction. I would be very thankful if you could get back to me.

Warmest regards.

You should be able to complete the deal within a week. This mainly just for your own protection so that the title company has time to insure you purchase a home with a clear title and no liens on it.

While not required, it would be advisable to purchase home owners insurance on the property and this may take a few days.
