I'd stay put. I'm on high ground, & in military strategy: "He who controls the high ground tends to win the war." I'm also out in the country, near a military base with plenty of weapons caches that I could find more ammo if needed. If you want to come up here Fyre, I have plenty of room. Unfortunately, we'd have to let the dogs out eventually (both yours & mine) & they'd be goners if the zombies ever made it this far out in the country. Not to worry though, it's highly unlikely they'd make it anywhere near here.

Just keep moving but always with an eye out for safe shelter, rest, and allies. And whatever you do, wear protective gear. Should you be forced to attack in self-defense, you must be very careful not to be bitten or you will become a cannibal zombie too.

If the zombies were cannibals, they would be attacking and eating each other and ignoring the living. However, if the zombies were of the "Romero-esq" persuasion, I would find a safe and secure place and formulate a survival plan.

i like the way you build this prose, purely as Hitchcock might have completed in his landmark action picture. In attitude, up till "Psycho", there were no actual "shocker" action picture made, edited in this sort. additionally having the celebrity of the action picture murdered interior the 1st quarter-hour exchange into exceptional (Janet Leigh exchange into between the biggest stars in 1960). that's a masterful occasion of ways Hitchcock threw his aim industry off look after. Hitchcock as quickly as quipped, It took purely approximately as long to action picture and edit the very nearly a hundred separate products of action picture at the same time for the bathe scene than it did to make something of the action picture. for the duration of the outstanding "harming a fly" fade-out that ended the action picture Anthony Perkins face words to a skeleton the previous couple of frames. action picture composer Bernard Hermann's "screaming violins" history song for the bathe scene exchange into between the action picture's many "firsts" and has on the grounds that been copied many times. Very resourceful way you lead your tale into this, Bri, (mirroring the way Hitchcock might have written this). Bravo interior the cleverness of your juxtaposition.

my bf talks about this stuff all the time and he said he's gonna pack up enough food, supplies and ammo to get to a gun/ammo shop and hole up there. That's about the safest place to be in a zombie attack.

I think I would stay put at the Bates Motel. They hardly ever had any business.
